Q: Where do I get UAC2?

Q: What about DMW Pro?

A: The ECL no longer supports DMW. All references to DMW have been removed from the ECL Rule Sets. NOTE: Anyone banned by DMW and thereby banned from the ECL is still banned from the ECL.

Q: What about Server Side anti-cheat programs like Foresight and CI? Can match servers still use those programs?

A: Absolutely. The ECL not only supports the use of Foresight and CI but encourages it!

Q: When must players use UAC2?

A: UAC 2 is mandatory in ALL Ladder matches and League matches sponsored by the ECL.There are no exceptions.

Q: When must players upload their screenshots?

A: Players have one hour from the time the match is completed to upload their screenshots to UAC. Failure to upload screenshots will result in a match frofeit and player(s) suspension from the ECL. There are no exceptions.

Q: Who can view the screenshots taken by UAC2?

A: Anyone with an account can view the screenshots from any match hosted by the ECL. They can also view any players history.

Q: If someone is caught cheating by UAC2 but they were not competing in an ECL Match when it happened are they banned from the ECL?

A: Yes.

Q: Is the ECL still a stock ladder? Will I be suspended for custom skins if they appear in my screenshots?

A: Yes. The ECL is still a stock competition. Any client side mods that appear in UAC2 screenshots will result in a suspension from the ECL. Subsequent offenses by repeat offenders will result in progressively harsher penalties including an eventual ban from the ECL for failure to follow ECL Competition rules.

Q: Can a player be suspended for violating the taunt rule if it appears in a screenshot taken by UAC2?

A: Yes. Any rule violation caught in a UAC2 screenshot (taunting, foul language, stacking, glitching, hack accusations, smurfing) will result in a suspension from the ECL. Subsequent offenses by repeat offenders will result in progressively harsher penalties including an eventual ban from the ECL for failure to follow ECL Competition rules.

Q: I am running Windows 7 and my screenshots are grey. What do I do?

A: Grey screen shots in Windows 7 have a temp fix. Players can play in windowed mode and UAC will take shots as required. Not all Windows 7 users have this problem though so not all players will have to play in windowed mode. UAC is working towards an update that will solve this issue. Players must still run UAC2 even if all their screenshots are grey. Screenshots contain the match ids and a time/date stamp. Using UAC2, good screens or not, still runs the built in MOHAA cheat definition file on the player. As long as the player ran the client for the duration of the match then he will not be suspended for bad screens taken by the client.  We can verify on the screens you upload that you ran the client by viewing the time/date stamp. We can also verify that you used the client by viewing your profile history on the UAC website.

Q: I am running Windows Vista and I get the load screen on uac2 when match play is over and screens are uploaded. Am I suspended until this is fixed?

A: Grey screens and loading screens are still uploaded to the UAC2 servers. Those screenshots contain the match ids and a time/date stamp.

Q: All of my screenshots are black. What do I do?

Q: Who made the cheat definition file?

A: The ECL will use the default mohaa cheat definition file provided by UAC. The ECL will begin working with UAC to develop a definition file specific to our community later this year.

Q: What team is listed first in the Match ID? The Challenge Team or the Defending Team?

A: The match id will be input as it appears in the ladder challenge/response screen. Challenging team first.
